Courses in Drawing, Painting, Color Mixing, and now also Portrait Drawing and Painting are offered! In these classes for drawing and painting enthusiasts, you will discover a world of possibilities. In addition to basic knowledge, you will learn to observe better and improve your knowledge and skills. Everyone is guided at their own level in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Course materials have been compiled for both drawing and painting classes, containing all the essential information in an organized manner for your reference.

Drawing Course: Various themes are covered in the drawing classes, such as improving drawing skills, knowledge of materials, grayscale, color theory, perspective, and composition. Different materials will also be used.
Painting Course: In the painting classes, you choose your own subject, which can be based on a (personal) photo. In addition to information on various painting techniques, attention is also given to materials, grayscale, color theory, composition, perspective, mediums, and varnishes. You will start a new painting and receive full guidance from start to finish, determining your own pace.

COLOR MIXING: You will receive useful information on creating a color palette. You will learn to mix with primary colors, how to start, and which colors to use when painting skies, clouds, and the sea, among other things. A golden ring or a copper jug? Velvet and/or silk? Through knowledge, skill, and the use of the right color combinations, you will learn to paint metals, precious metals, fabrics, and much more realistically. This course comes with a handout folder containing all the lessons, recipes, and exercises for your reference.

PORTRAIT DRAWING or PORTRAIT Drawing & PAINTING: These are fun and educational courses consisting of 10 lessons. Lesson materials are provided, allowing you to review all lessons, examples, and exercises. You will work with a (personal) photo, such as a child or grandchild.

From now on, you can order a handy set of drawing grids from SAM Paintings. This set is a useful tool for enlarging or reducing a drawing, photo, or other reference to accurately transfer it onto a support (canvas, panel, etc.). The set includes the following transparent grids: 5 x 5 cm, 2.5 x 2.5 cm, 2 x 2 cm, 1 x 1 cm, and 0.5 x 0.5 cm. Each version also includes a paper copy, transfer paper, and a blank paper/protective sheet. This set is in A4 format and includes clear instructions. A set costs €15, excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs for one set are €2.50 / for two, three, or four sets are €3.50. No shipping costs will be charged for orders of five sets or more.
